This is permanent.

Deleting your account is irreversible. We can't restore deleted data even if you change your mind tomorrow.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in credentials. You can't log in afterward; if you want a new account later, you'll sign up fresh.
  • Your name, profile photo, address, and contact information.
  • Your reward points balance.
  • Your saved deals.
  • Any unredeemed claims you have outstanding.
  • If you own a business on MyGreenDeals: the business profile, its deals, and any pending leads or invoices tied to it.

What we keep, and why

A small set of records stay in our system after deletion, scrubbed of any personal identifiers, for legal and operational reasons:

  • Anonymized transaction records — payments processed through Stripe, lead invoices billed to businesses, and dispute outcomes. We retain these for at least seven years to meet US tax and accounting recordkeeping requirements.
  • Operational logs — server-level access logs that don't contain personal information beyond an IP address. Retention follows our hosting provider's defaults (typically 30 days).
  • Aggregate analytics — counts of claims, leads, and redemptions per business. Once your account is deleted, these are no longer attributable to you specifically.

What about my subscription?

If you have an active Gold subscription:

  • Web subscriptions (paid via Stripe): we'll cancel your subscription and detach your saved card before we delete the account. You won't be billed again.
  • App-store subscriptions (paid via Apple or Google in-app billing): these are managed by the platform store, not by us. You'll need to cancel through your phone's subscription settings before or after deleting your account. Apple · Google

How long does deletion take?

If you delete using the form below or the in-app Settings page, the destructive part runs immediately — your sign-in credentials and personal data are gone within seconds. Cleanup of cached copies in our hosting and CDN providers can take up to 24 hours. If you contact support to delete on your behalf, allow up to 30 days from the date we receive your request.

Delete an account you can't sign into

To delete your account from the web, you need to be signed in so we can verify it's really yours. The fastest path is:

  1. Sign in to your MyGreenDeals account.
  2. Visit /settings and scroll to Danger zone.
  3. Or come back to this page once signed in and use the form that appears here.

If you can't sign in (lost password, forgotten email, account locked), email support and we'll process the deletion manually within 30 days. Include the email address you used to sign up so we can find your account.
