Terms of Service

Welcome to MyGreenDeals. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the MyGreenDeals app, website, and any related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Operator
The Service is operated by Jacob Nadauld d/b/a MyGreenDeals. Mailing address for legal notices: 6311 S 3100 W, Rexburg, ID 83440. For Terms questions, email mygreendealsadmin@gmail.com.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Business accounts must be operated by a person authorized to bind the business legally. By signing up you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are who you say you are.
Customer accounts
- Claiming a deal does not guarantee availability. Deals are subject to the participating business's posted rules, inventory, and per-deal expiration windows. Businesses may pause or remove deals at any time.
- A claim creates a 48-hour redemption window. Failing to act on a claim within the window expires the claim and incurs no charge to you or to the business.
- The savings amounts shown on a deal (“$25 off,” “25% off,” etc.) are honored at the participating business's discretion. We are not responsible for errors, typos, or out-of-stock situations at the business.
- Reward points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire if your account is inactive for 12 consecutive months (no logins and no claims). Points cannot be redeemed for cash. Points may be removed if we detect fraud or abuse.
- You agree not to abuse the Service: no automated scraping or bots, no fraudulent claims, no creation of multiple accounts to farm rewards, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform.
Business accounts
- Each business is responsible for honoring its own published deals and for keeping deals active or paused as it sees fit. Failing to honor a published deal may result in customer disputes that we may resolve in the customer's favor.
- A billed lead is created only when a customer redeems a claimed deal and your staff scans that customer's QR code. Calls, directions, and booking taps may be tracked for analytics, but they are not billed. Each billed redemption uses the per-lead rate shown on the business dashboard at the time of the scan. Billing is handled through Stripe.
- We may pause, remove, or refuse to activate deals that violate these Terms, the law, or that our verification pipeline cannot validate. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
- Businesses may operate up to one location for free. Locations 2-7 require an active Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions and additional location seats are billed monthly via Stripe.
- We do not guarantee any specific volume of leads, claim count, or customer outcome.
- Disputed billed scans are reviewed by an admin and refunded if we agree the redemption was not a real customer interaction.
Subscriptions and billing
We offer the following paid features:
- Customer Gold subscription ($39/year, or as listed in the app). Unlocks better Gold-member bonus pricing on eligible deals and a 1.5x reward-points multiplier.
- Business Pro subscription ($29/month per extra location, or as listed in the app). Unlocks the second through seventh storefront seats.
- Per-redeemed-lead billing (variable, set per-business and per-region). Charged weekly to the saved business payment method.
Web (PWA) subscriptions are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Settings or via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not refund partial periods.
iOS app subscriptionsare processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. To avoid the next renewal you must cancel through your Apple ID at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellations made within the last 24 hours of a billing cycle may not stop that cycle's charge. Refund requests must be made through Apple at Apple subscription management. Apple's refund policy applies.
Android app subscriptions are processed by Google through Google Play. Cancellations and refund requests must be made through Google at Google subscription management. Google's refund policy applies.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your MyGreenDeals account. Deleting your MyGreenDeals account does not automatically cancel a platform-managed (Apple or Google) subscription — you must also cancel through Apple or Google.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Renewal terms (price, period) are shown at signup and may change with reasonable notice as permitted by Stripe, Apple, or Google's policies.
Prohibited activities and prohibited businesses
You may not use the Service for, or post deals related to:
- Illegal goods or services.
- Cannabis or other federally restricted substances.
- Firearms, ammunition, or weapons.
- Adult content or services.
- Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, or get-rich-quick offers.
- Counterfeit or unauthorized resale of branded merchandise.
- Credit repair, debt elimination, or unlicensed financial services.
- Any activity that violates the rights of a third party.
We may reject business onboarding or remove deals that fall into these categories at our sole discretion. Lists are non-exhaustive and we reserve the right to update them.
User-generated content and reporting
The Service includes content that you and other users contribute: deal photos, business descriptions, profile information, support messages. You retain ownership of content you upload (logos, photos, deal descriptions, verification documents). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and modify that content as needed to operate the Service. The license terminates when you delete the content or your account, except that we may retain copies for a reasonable cleanup period and as required for our legitimate business or legal obligations.
To report objectionable content, abusive users, or businesses misusing the platform, email mygreendealsadmin@gmail.com with a description and (where applicable) a link to the deal, business profile, or message. We will review reports and take action where warranted, including removing content, suspending accounts, or permanently terminating repeat offenders.
You may also block individual businesses from appearing in your feed by tapping the menu icon on a deal card. Blocking is private; the business is not notified.
We use AI tools to flag potentially problematic images at upload time; flagged images are reviewed by an admin before publication. We may remove content that violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or is otherwise objectionable.
Account termination and deletion
You may deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings or from /delete-account. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we delete and what we retain.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or expose us to legal risk. Where practical we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure; for serious violations we may terminate immediately.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We are not responsible for the conduct of participating businesses, the quality or safety of the products or services they provide, or for any disputes between you and a participating business. We are not a party to the underlying transaction.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyGreenDeals, its operators, and its service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Idaho, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Where required by applicable consumer-protection law, you may have the right to bring an action in your local court instead. Nothing in these Terms waives any such mandatory right.
App-store provisions (iOS and Android)
If you obtained the MyGreenDeals app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following additional provisions apply.
These Terms are between you and MyGreenDeals only — not between you and Apple, and not between you and Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, for support, for claims, or for any product-liability, regulatory, or intellectual-property claims relating to the app.
Apple.To the extent these Terms give you a warranty (they don't — see Disclaimers), Apple is not the warrantor. In the event of a non-conformity with any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the iOS app, and upon your acceptance of these Terms Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Google.The Android app is distributed through Google Play. Where Google's policies provide a different outcome, Google's policies may control as required by Google's developer agreement. Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with respect to the Android app and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted when you next sign in or by an in-app banner, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, where permitted by applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
